When I was in Coyoacán, I bought a small leather satchel/carry-all/man-purse. $7.40. The rivet holding the shoulder strap on is not great so I spent some time sewing reinforcements along the edge of the strap. It’s a much lighter way to carry the few things I take to work, or smaller excursions- you know, lipstick, tampons…
